NREMT QC: Incomplete Application - HELP!?!?!

I've completed my state application and was approved months ago.. I applied on the NREMT site for the written / cbt a month ago today and they still haven't approved me.. I had some misdemeanor charges and have submitted all of the documentation I can get my hands on, but it still says NREMT QC: Incomplete Application!! I just don't understand! I've tried to fill the application out again and it only lets me get thru a couple of questions and tells me to email NREMT.. Well, I've emailed...

Not sure what to do next. NREMT Psychomotor exam

Hi everyone. So, I am trying to get my NREMT back after it lapsed. Yesterday I took the Psychomotor exam and failed one station twice. I have one more attempt to pass before having to redo the psychomotor skills. My question is, how do i go about doing this station again? Do i have to find another company that is in the process of doing their skills stations? I've never failed twice on any part of this, so i'm lost as to what to do.

Well I am pretty excited right about now. All of the studying really paid off. I passed every station on my fist attempt. So my official results are not yet posted on the NREMT website. I assume it will take a business day or 2 to get that updated. Once that is updated, do I apply to take the written test through the NREMT, or through pearson vue? So if I do pass the written test... how long will it take to get a license through the state? I live right on the border between MN and ND and I...

i can't do anything with this fire-science degree, because my dumb *** can't pass the ****ing Nremt -b in mass. what should i do ,i'm losing hope and might just settle for a CDL i'm broke and hopeless.

So my name is correct on the website but I was about to set up an appointment to take the test and it said my name had to be exactly the same as my ID, and I only put my first last name. Would they allow it if my second last name doesn't appear on the form but it appears on my ID? If Not how do I fix it the fastest?

Hey all this is my first post on a while!! Last post was before my move asking about reciprocity. Well washington state sucks for reciprocity there is so much you have to do and no one seems to be in a hurry to do it but I digress. Anyways I finally got the chance to schedule and take the NREMT today I took it about 1pm finished 121 questions with 5 minutes to spare. Still no results but fingers crossed I have a department sponsoring me for reciprocity and they will be awfully upset if I...

Taking the National Written

Any advice for taking the National Written? I passed my EMT-B class, and did great on the practical. I am a horrible test taker, and even worse when it comes to standardized tests. I have been out of class for about a month, and because of various life events will not be able to take the test for another couple of weeks. Any study tips or advice for taking this test?

So I just checked out the first time pass rate for the NR. The Statistics say that Massachusetts has the worst first time pass rate in the last three years for EMT-B. it's not like Mass has the most educated people in the country or anything but is it possible that NR is more difficult in Mass then in other states. Maybe the teaching is different or they would like to make sure their EMTs are the most qualified. I'm just having a hard time believing that most people down South are more...

EMT-B Psychomotor Retest

Hi all,

I took my psychomotor test about a month ago, and passed all the stations but the long board immobilization on the first round. I failed it twice and am retaking it again tomorrow. Do I have to retake all of the stations on this round, or just the one I failed?

I took the class 6 months ago but haven't gotten the chance to test until now. Hoping it's just the one station.

NR strategy

I’ve noticed while studying , I either know the answer or the question becomes 50/50.

So I also noticed when it becomes 50/50 , say (A) or (D),

The answer is always the opposite of what I chose .

Has anyone come across this before and possibly used this as a strategy to pass the NR?

I was doing some online studying and came across an instructor that gave a really useful clue about answering questions. The clue was “ when you see the word Positive-pressure , it means you will always give ventilations “. Does anyone have any more useful clues to answering questions like this ?

AMET failed again

First time testing was about 6 months after class. It was awful and I felt totally unprepared even though I thought I studied very well. Today I took the exam again and failed, 8 months after. I am coming up on my 2 year limit, and third try. Feeling very hopeless.

The Nremt website is not helping on bit. The processes for application is not really clearly layed out, at least for the process that i'll be taking. To start off with I'm certified in MA which is not an nremt state. I am now located in Vermont (starting currently to require NREMT). I've created and sent an initial entry app on the nremt website which asks you your emt course and location to verify completion. It then says that once approval is granted, you can schedule a CBT exam. When does...

Conviction charge? (11357C)

Hi I have a question and I need some feed back please and thank you.
I have a prior conviction charge for a marijuana charge. I was convicted for possession of more than I ounce of marijuana and it was a misdemeanor. I sent over all the documentation to NREMT will this disqualify me from taking the national test? I hope not because I paid a lot of money for the class.

What text books should I get

Took the NR for the Fourth time. I guess I gotta start from scratch. There's a lot of vocabulary on the NR I've never seen and I feel is out of scoop. I bought Sucess for Emt study booklet, now I need a text book to learn.
So what is the best text book to use , I'm losing my **** here. Really bout to give up , this exam seems more like pre-med than basic for me.

Hello all, Ill be taking my NREMT-P test for the SECOND time on Monday. For those who have done a data dump right before starting the test (wrote down formulas, equations, charts etc). What would you suggest that i write down so I dont have to worry about it later?
